Andrew's Toybox

Well, this entry is specifically for Debbie (Nana). I thought you might want to see Andrew in front of his new toybox....isn't he cute!? Daddy put it together last Saturday and we are really enjoying it. Especially me because there is a lot less clutter in his room now. So thank you from everyone! We are really enjoying having Aunt Mindi here with us...hopefully she won't catch Andrew's cold! He is actually doing better though. Well, I better run...I hope you enjoy the picture.

Prayer Request

Ok, Christi and Andrew both have a cold. Please pray they get better! The Beerley household hasn't slept for 2 nights. Not fun.
Our church's Christmas musical is tonight and tomorrow. Should be good. I'm a "Lord a Leaping" in our 12 days of christmas song. Frog hat and all...

Love you all!

He's Walking!

For those of you who don't know, Andrew is finally walking. It's kind of sad...I've wanted this for a long time and worried about it, but now it's really like I've lost my baby. I now have an independent little boy. Oh well. I thought these pictures were adorable, so I'm passing them along...especially for Nana!

This is us at our Hanging of the Green service, which was totally incredible by the way. We'll attempt to be more regular posting here.

Our little Fireman

This is Andrew on Halloween at our Fall Festival at church. He is a fireman, in case you couldn't tell. He was not too fond of the hat, so consider yourself lucky that there's actually a picture of him with it on. And to update on the walking process, he actually took 3 steps on Friday, but he won't do it again. He's getting more balance everyday though!

Jay and the Dog!

Well, we haven't posted anything in awhile, so I thought I would update you on some things. This is Jay and someone else's dog. The staff were getting their pictures done at this lady's house and this was one of them...I thought it was cute, so I'm putting it on here. I know it's not Andrew, but it's the next best thing! :) We are doing well. Andrew is still not walking! I'm doing the motherly thing and worrying about it constantly, but he'll do it when he's ready. He walks around the house holding onto the walls and furniture, so I know he can do it, he just isn't ready to let go. However, he did feed himself mashed potatoes with a spoon the other day...it was a major breakthrough. But now he's reverted back to just playing with them. Oh well-he's 17 months old, what can you expect? We are planning our Texas trip for the middle of November and we can't wait to see everyone! Hope you all are doing well!

A little taste...

First of all, let me say that I had a wonderful trip and it's so good to be back. My time at the National Youth Workers Convention was wonderful. The quality of preaching, worship and pracitcal seminars is unbelievable. I also went to a critical concerns course on 3Story Evangelism that was incredible. Please check it out!
I also had a chance to spend 2 days in San Francisco doing a pre-site visit for our mission trip there next summer. It was incredible. God instantly gave me a heart for the area in doing ministry there. Rigth after he took away my incredible fear and claustrophobia of it being so packed! I didn't see any of the cool touristy pictured things that you see on television or ads. I saw the heart and pain of the city. The needs. I greatly look forward to God stretching me personally and the youth ministry here in Joelton. I'd love for you to check out CSM's website and be in prayer for them and us as we partner with them. And it was wonderful to be able to hang out with Holly and Brandon, too.
Hope everyone is doing well and we'd love to hear from you! Send us an email or leave a comment. Love you all!

How Great is Our God

Well, here I am in California weeping over how much God has blessed me with his sweet salvation and my family. Having a wonderful time and will probaby post what I have been challenged with when I get back. Love you guys! Especially Christi and Andrew!

Jay is the greatest!

Well, since Jay is currently out of town, I thought I would sort of post a tribute to him. Andrew and I miss him so much and can't wait for him to get back! He is the best husband and daddy ever! Yesterday at about five, when Jay usually gets home from work, Andrew started saying "Dada, dada?" It was so cute! We pray that God will teach him lots this week and renew his spirit. Please pray for him when you think about it. We love you, Jay!

I left my heart...

Ok, so I've never actually been to San Francisco or Sacramento. But all that will change this weekend. Tomorrow I'm leaving for the National Youth Workers Convention in Sacramento and then go to San Francisco on Monday to do a pre-site visit for the Center of Student Missions where we'll be going next summer. And I'll get to spend some time with Holly and Brandon (cousin and husband). So please be in prayer for me as I travel and for times of spiritual renewal and ministry challenges. And most definitely be in prayer for Christi and Andrew as they are left all alone in a foreign land! Ok, it's not that bad, but pray that they stay safe and that their spirits stay up.
Love you guys and thanks for support! And check out the website of what I'll be involved in. Always good to know.

A day at the park

We went to the park today to take some video for the DVD which I promise is coming soon! He mostly just loves the leaves and stuff, but hey, we're trying. He actually took a couple of steps as well reaching for something, so that was waaaaaay cool. It was hot so our fun times were short. And he hates the swings!

Andrew's First Boat Ride

Well, this is my first time posting something on here, so bear with me. I figured this would be a good way for our family and friends to keep up with us since we now live so far away. This picture is from Labor day weekend...it was Andrew's first time in a boat and he LOVED it! He would have stayed on there all day if we would have let him. Don't worry Nana, as you can see, he was safe in his life jacket. He couldn't even move his head because it was so tight. It didn't seem to bother him though.

First time out

Ok, people, here we are trying to be all 21st century and keeping up with those that we are very far from. Hope you enjoy. We'll post pics and stories and updates when we can. And of course prayer requests. We love those! Ok, here goes...
